I need struts and tie rod ends on my car. Does it matter what order I replace them in?

We can replace the struts ourselves...we've done it on other cars before. But we also need the tie rod ends and ball joints replaced, and I don't know that we can do those at home. So should I take the car in and get the tie rod ends and ball joints replaced BEFORE I do the struts, or do the struts at home before I take it in for the other stuff?
