Why does my 2002 Intrepid 3.5L make a knocking sound around the RF wheel when I make left turns?

Recently my car has developed a knocking sound around the right front wheel when I make left turns. I had the strut checked, and the strut mount on that side was binding, so had it replaced along with wheel alignment. Didn't solve the problem. It is not a clicking, as in CV axle or grinding, just a knocking sound. Only happens when I make left turns on uneven road surfaces.
