04 tsx clutch question?

hopefully going to be picking an 04 tsx with a 6speed sometime this week. done alot of research and read tooonns of customer reviews on them, overall seem like a pretty solid car. although things that do worry me are ive came across numerous customers complaining about the clutch going fairly soon and not even driving hard. but from all the reviews ive read it seemed to be more a problem with the clutch master cylinder they just turned to the clutch initially. so, if something like were to happen to me, im going to check alll possible options without immediately saying the clutch is bad, if i come to find that the clutch is bad, im not paying some 1500 to replace one, so, my question in simple is, has anyone ever replaced the clutch themselves on one, i have enough knowledge of cars to know that if i were to attempt this i could most likely do it, i just want to know, is it a huge pain in the *** and do i have to drop the subframe?
