Help! My Acura's paint is peeling off?

I have a 2005 acura TSX who's paint is peeling off on the front bumper and on little spots on the hood. There is a huge exposed area on the bumper revealing grey, and some small rock chip sized spots on the hood that's also peeling. What is the grey stuff I see underneath? Is that primer? There's also some little rust spots inside some of the rock chips. What can I do to fix it? My car is only 6 years old and is peeling already, could it be a factory defect? At this point taking it to the detail shop is NOT and option. Please give me some advice.
